Weekly Boarding Update 17-20 November

Last week the girls were inspired by visiting speakers who taught many soft skills, on Resilience Day. We all enjoyed a mufti day as we raised money for children less fortunate than us in the UK and abroad, with the charity Children in Need. On Thursday night from our warm and cosy beds, we heard the Year 10s who braved the cold weather and slept-rough to raise money for homeless charities. This weekend, the junior boarders had lots of fun bouncing at Gravity trampoline park. On Sunday, we watched Fantastic Beasts in 3D. This film was set in an amalgamation of New York in the 1920’s Jazz Age and the world of Harry Potter, where we discovered the origins of Hogwart’s school textbook ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.
