15 Minutes from Sevenoaks to KC

Today was a momentous day for Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks with the official opening of the newly dualled A21 between Tonbridge and Pembury. Over 35,000 vehicles travel along this section every day, including students and staff at Kent College. The route now takes less than 15 minutes from Sevenoaks to KC!

Head of the Prep School, Mr Nik Pears, and our Prep School Head Girl and Deputy Head, Harriet and Gabriella, were invited to the opening ceremony this morning. Not only did the girls have the important job of holding the ribbon, alongside the Conservative MP for Tonbridge Mr Tom Tugendhat, but they were interviewed by the Times of Tunbridge Wells, The Sevenoaks Chronicle, The Kent and Sussex Courier and ITV Meridian News.
